"This showed up right in time. I have a couple anti-fatigue matts that I use in my garage. This past Sunday I was planning on cooking for a large group of friends, but the concrete floors in my kitchen (covered by a thin wood-effect vinyl) play hell on my feet and back when I spend hours in the kitchen. I was going to bring my garage matts up, despite the fact that they've soaked up a bit of oil, grease, spilled gas and other fun fluids, just to keep myself upright! I was initially worried because this matt was a little thinner than the one I'd used before, but I had to give it a try, so I figured what the heck. The good news is this mat performed flawlessly, it's definitely thick and supportive enough to take a lot of the pain away, and the beveled edges are gradual enough that I didn't find myself catching my feet a lot on it. One thing I liked is that this was less porous than the ones I have in the garage. With those if you spill any fluid on them, the fluid is soaked up in seconds and you're left squeezing as much out as you can. I spilled quite a bit of juice from a sous vide bag and for the most part the fluid stayed on the surface long enough for me to soak up with some paper towels and wipe down. That's a pretty big deal if you plan on using these in the kitchen."
