Generally speaking, working in the kitchen is the only time I can go without shoes for any length of time thanks to these bad boys.

"As a flat footed individual that generally has to wear shoes at all time, to avoid end of the day knee pain, I love these things. I have one set up in front of the sink, and one in front of the stove. Every Saturday morning, I roll out of bed to the clamoring of the kids wanting pancakes. I get the "helper stool" out for the kids, slide the mat from in front of the sink to the nearby counter, and get to cooking on the griddle. Then, because I am such an awesomely modest husband; after breakfast I slide the mat over in front of the sink, and get the breakfast dishes and griddle cleaned up. (Don't worry guys, I am mostly useless around the house the rest of the time).
Last weekend was beef stew, which I set up one mat in front of the counter I was prepping on, and one in front of the stove, and I would bounce back and forth. Generally speaking, working in the kitchen is the only time I can go without shoes for any length of time thanks to these bad boys."
