Wow, this was my favorite Christmas gift. While I received some wonderful presents this year, this is my favorite! I was suffering from a traumatic knee injury this holiday season, and the immobilizing brace was really causing me a lot of back pain- and it was terrible while I cooked. So I asked for this mat as a gift. I have to admit, my husband wasn't thrilled about a mat in our kitchen covering our nice wood floors, but he gave in. We both love it now and we have been standing on it for 4 months. It really relieves pressure on the back, feels great under my feet, and it looks really nice. It has held up to spills, kids, and two dogs. I highly recommend, and can honestly say 3 friends have purchased the mats after standing on mine- and they all love it! -Oklahoma

I ordered these mats after standing on my feet at Thanksgiving, and having my plantar fascitis plagued feet ache unbearably. They came in time for the Christmas cookie baking, and they were mighty comfortable. In fact, I was able to stand and bake for hours without the usual aching feeling I used to get. I love them! This is a wonderful mat! I am a disabled vet with back, knee and feet issues. And with standing for long periods at the sink , I was in pain afterwards. After using this mat, it really does what it says. Haven't had any problems with pain from standing in the kitchen for long periods at a time. Also don't feel fatigued afterwards. I could see how people might think it is kind of spendy, but not compared to other mats, especially for the relief it gives, the fact that it is environmentally friendly and the way it holds up.
